What is the monthly rent, and what does it include?

Monthly rent varies slightly by unit layout and availability. Each apartment includes high-speed internet activated on day one. Storage units and off-street parking are available to residents at no additional cost, subject to availability, along with other building amenities.


Are utilities included, or will I need to pay for them separately?

Residents are responsible for electric. Water, sewer, trash, and high-speed internet are bundled into one monthly utility charge of $89.95.


What is the lease term?

Leases at 550 Lofts are month-to-month from the start, offering flexibility for today’s lifestyles. Notice requirements and early termination terms are outlined in the lease agreement.


Is renter’s insurance required?

Yes. Renter’s insurance is required. Coverage minimums are detailed in the lease agreement.


Are pets allowed?

Pets are considered on a case-by-case basis. Approved pets may require a pet deposit and/or monthly pet rent as outlined in the applicable lease addendum.


What amenities are included at 550 Lofts?

Amenities include high-speed internet, storage units, off-street parking, a pet walking area, elevator access, electronic key entry, and close proximity to stores, restaurants, hospitals, schools, and gas stations.


Is a security deposit required?

Yes. The security deposit is equal to one month’s rent and is handled in accordance with Pennsylvania law. Details regarding the return of the deposit are outlined in the lease.


Are there income or credit requirements?

Applications are reviewed based on income, credit history, background screening, and overall fit, in accordance with fair housing guidelines.


Can I make modifications to the apartment?

Any modifications, including painting or installing fixtures, must be approved in writing by the owner prior to installation.


How are maintenance requests handled?

Maintenance requests can be submitted through the online resident portal or via the maintenance form on our website. Requests are addressed in a timely manner.


Is parking assigned, and is there a fee?

Parking is available on a first-come basis and is not assigned. Off-street parking is provided at no additional cost. The parking area is well-lit and monitored.


What is the neighborhood like?

550 Lofts is a newer building designed with sound control in mind, resulting in very quiet apartments. The property is located near shopping, dining, medical facilities, and schools. Public transportation, including bus service and ride-share options, is easily accessible, and the Lancaster train station is within walking distance.


Are there restrictions on guests or overnight visitors?

Guests are permitted for short stays consistent with residential use. Extended or frequent overnight stays may require approval and inclusion on the lease.


Are the apartments furnished?

Apartments are unfurnished.


How are rent increases handled?

Rent is evaluated periodically and may be adjusted based on market conditions, operating costs, and other factors, with proper notice as required by law.


Is sub-letting allowed?

Sub-letting is not permitted.


Are there late fees for rent payments?

Rent is due on the 1st of each month. Late fees may apply if rent is not received within the grace period specified in the lease.


Is there an application fee?

There is no fee to inquire or schedule a tour. Applicants may be responsible for third-party screening fees at the time of application.


How is the apartment’s condition documented at move-in?

Can I see the apartment before applying?
